Cosmetic Acupuncture: The Facts
Cosmetic acupuncture is the secret to lasting, sustainable beauty. This centuries old non-surgical procedure is a safe and effective age-defying alternative to surgery, botox, and fillers.

How Does Cosmetic Acupuncture Work?
Your acupuncturist uses sterilized, stainless steel needles, thin as a human hair, in specific points to increase blood flow and boost the production of collagen, elastin, and fibrinogen by a factor of 10, resulting in fewer wrinkles and more vibrant-looking skin.
By relaxing the expression muscles in your face, frown lines and laugh lines gradually diminish and fade away. Skin gets tighter. Jowls lift. Crows feet disappear. You look better. You feel better. And there’s no downtime as there can be with other, more aggressive procedures.
Beautiful, radiant skin, and improved muscle tone and jaw line.
Softer skin and a smoother complexion.
Lifting of the eyes and elimination of bags under the eye.
Reducing deep wrinkles, eliminating fine lines on the face.
Lifts facial muscles, increases metabolism, improves circulation, and reduces puffiness and dark circles under the eyes.
Fades crow’s feet and smooths out smoker’s mouth
How Soon Will I See Results
A 1996 report in the International Journal of Clinical Acupuncture reported that among 300 cases treated with cosmetic acupuncture, 90% had marked effects with one course of treatment.
It is recommended that you begin with a 12-session course of treatment, with at least one visit per week to get the best results. You then move to maintenance treatments, the frequency of which is determined by you and your acupuncturist.
Is It Too Late For Me To Benefit From Cosmetic Acupuncture?

Any woman or man who wishes to slow signs of aging, wants to live in harmony with their body, and would rather not undergo surgery or inject chemicals into their face is a good candidate for cosmetic acupuncture. Treatment can be started at any age, with benefits seen for those as young as their late twenties who are noticing the first signs of aging.
Older patients report looking 5 to 10 years younger. The ancillary health benefits that come with regular acupuncture treatment result in an overall healthier you. Friends and business associates notice that you look brighter, clearer. They may ask if you’ve been working out as your face lifts and tightens.
